In accordance with the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), the City of North Tonawanda has determined that the NT Momentum Master Plan is a Type I action, meaning that a Generic Environmental Impact Statement (GEIS) was to evaluate areas of potential impacts resulting from recommendations in the Plan. You can view a copy of the GEIS draft scoping document, as well as a Draft GEIS document and appendices in the links below. The purpose of the scope is to define the environmental issues that will be addressed in the GEIS document and identify potentially significant adverse impacts that may result from implementation of the Plan. A public comment period for the GEIS was open from October 17th to November 16th, 2018.
